Eye Specialist & Managing director of Dr Helena Eye Hospital & Institute Dr Helena Nongmaithem has been conferred the Dr Ambedkar Distinguish Service National Award-2023 during the valedictory function of the 39th National Conference of Dalit Writers organised by Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Academy at Panchsheel Ashram in New Delhi.

The award comprising citation and certificate, was presented on Monday to Dr Helena in recognition of her selfless contribution to the society.
